Dear God: May we finally gain the wisdom to realize that at one time, all of our families were immigrants and treat today’s immigrants with compassion and generosity.
With Love To All ~ Dick
Dear God: I’ve learned the world is a vast unfilled tapestry in which each of us has a role in bringing something special to that tapestry.
Dear God: Each person must find hope from within before he or she will find the courage to solve their own problems, and then those of the world.
Dear God: Before we envy the happiness we think others have, may we realize in most cases it is an illusion as people, to make the best impression, often disguise their real feelings.
Dear God: I've learned none are so foolish as those who close their hearts to others.
With Love To All - Dick
Dear God: When darkness overwhelms us and all hope is gone, may we seek your inner light in all of its brightness and then share that inner light thru love for all who desperately seek it.
Dear God: I’ve learned people cannot correct their personal problems until they acknowledge they exist.
Dear God: May I fall in love anew each day, beginning with those who already live in my heart.
Dear God: When we turn a blind eye to the plight of refugees, may we realize that we have turned a blind eye to you and to all of your teachings.
Dear God: So often we think we have all the time in the world, even as the precious seconds of our lives are ticking away.
Dear God: I’ve learned our greatest journey is one of self-discovery, a journey that will tell us who we are and what we are meant to accomplish in this life.
Dear God: Most people rely upon their intellect for wisdom when the true source has always been in the heart.
Dear God: May the foundation for our success be the wellbeing of others.
Dear God: May the light of our spirits shine so bright, that they serve as a beacon of hope to all beings.
Dear God: May each of us be grateful for the precious gifts you’ve bestowed upon us. For many of us, these include the blessings of sight and sound, balance and good health.
Dear God: I’ve discovered that greatness is attained thru successfully solving vast numbers of small issues for it is in those solutions most major issues then never arise.
Dear God: May each of us realize we are just one decision and one committed action away from uplifting our lives.
Dear God: May we end poverty and all of its suffering, which is possible if only we will apply the vast and unending funding we currently invest in war.
Dear God: We have the power to solve every issue before us, if only we will unite and commit ourselves to action rather than endlessly blaming each other.
Dear God: It is far easier to pray to you, than for us to apply ourselves to solve our man-made problems, clearly the only way you ever intended for them to be solved.
Dear God: May I be the reason someone else feels better about themselves today.
