Dear God: I’ve learned great leaders encourage others, give them the tools to succeed, and always acknowledge or celebrate their triumphs.
With Love To All ~ Dick
Dear God: I’ve learned the kindest people are those who have grown enough from their own pain to help relieve the suffering of others.
Dear God: I’ve learned in our darkest times, it is humor that can rescue us, however hard it may be to find it.
Dear God: May the inner light that shines brightly within each of us, warm our hearts and cast a loving light to all.
Dear God: May we each find peace within ourselves, and share that peace with others as we hold them dear in our hearts.
Dear God: May I waste no time complaining about the world as it is, but instead ask myself how it could be better and take action to make it so.
Dear God: I’ve learned we must first discover our own inner-beauty before we can fully appreciate the beauty of life.
Dear God: I’ve learned what most people desire in an intimate relationship is someone who loves them, respects them and is sensitive to their feelings.
Dear God: May the only time I ever strive to get even is to repay the kindness others have bestowed upon me.
Dear God: I’ve learned there is never a better time for self-discovery than now, a journey each of us will hopefully make.
Dear God: When my body aches, may I be wise enough to listen and smart enough to heed the message.
With Love To All - Dick
Dear God: Whenever I meet people who think they know it all, I realize they will never understand how little they actually know, nor have the insight to grow.
Dear God: I try to avoid "If Only," for those words can only bring frustration and sadness. Although difficult, I seek acceptance for what is and try to elevate my thinking to what could be.
Dear God: I used to seek genius in someone special until I realized everyone is special and that we each have genius living within us.
Dear God: I’ve learned there are no magical shortcuts, achievement requires hard work and dedication.
Dear God: I’ve learned that success ultimately comes from a long series of small victories and the absorption of many defeats.
Dear God: Whenever I question whether what I do still matters, I answer it by doing something special for someone else.
Dear God: I’ve learned wisdom comes not from our achievements but from learning the lessons contained in our failures.
Dear God: I’ve learned each of us matters for we are all a tiny piece of the quilt of life.
Dear God: May I envision a better world, one we can all contribute too, one that welcomes all of us.
Dear God: I've learned true beauty is timeless for it comes from the inner-recesses of the heart and the highest elements of the soul.
